My Easter Cake

With the Easter biscuits recipe on this blog and the Bizcocho one, you will have the basis of this cake.

I used some of the biscuit mixes (vanilla and chocolate ones) to create some egg shaped biscuits.

I covered the Bizcocho with a thin layer of chocolate which I made by mixing 100 gr of chocolate (softened on the Bain Marie) with 20gr of butter.

Because I had to transport the cake to my brother and sister’s house I could not fix the rabbits beforehand and as the chocolate was not sticky enough by the time I arrived, I had to make a light caramel with two spoonfuls of sugar and 1 of water which I used as binding agent when sticky enough after warming it up.

I am obliged to show you the design development which occurred in the presence of my nieces…i.e. the end product as I think has an added charm (bunnies conversing and chicks singing)
